A Commercial Package Policy (CPP) is designed to combine two or more coverage forms into one customized package. What isn’t covered?
Although the CPP can include many of the coverage forms a business requires, there are some that are not covered. For instance Workers Comp and Directors and Officers Insurance cannot be added to the commercial package policy and must be purchased as a separate policy. Group Life and Disability insurance products must also be purchased as stand alone policies.
How is the CPP priced?
Pricing a commercial package policy is based on a variety of factors, depending on the types of coverage forms included in the package. As an example the age, construction and value of a commercial property, and the inherent risk of your operations and products, will impact the premium. The premium for each coverage part is generally less than if purchased separately as companies often times grant discounts when they are purchased as part of a commercial package policy.
